Help centreComplaint process

A complaint you can follow from start to finish

See what happens after you submit, how to track progress, and when CREDICORP steps in.

When you submit a complaint, it becomes one protected case with a unique reference. Keep this reference private—you will use it to follow your case and respond when more information is needed.

First, CREDICORP checks that the complaint relates to supported credit and confirms the issue, provider and level of urgency. Your case is then routed to the participating financial institution (PFI) or kept with CREDICORP where escalation is required.

The PFI should acknowledge an assigned complaint within 24 hours. Resolution targets depend on the complaint category and are normally between 5 and 15 business days. You can track the plain-language status of your case without seeing internal enforcement or security information.

If the PFI misses its deadline, the case is automatically escalated to CREDICORP with its history intact. Before closure, you can review the outcome, ask for inaccurate information to be corrected and dispute a resolution you do not accept. Eligible closed cases may be reopened within the approved window.
